JSS Academy Of Technical Education

Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Academy of Technical Education, often known as JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), is a Noida-based engineering college. JSSATE was founded in 1997 as part of the JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which is based in Mysore.

JSSATE is associated with VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University), which is located in Belgaum, Karnataka, India. In 2019, it was placed 55th among India's top institutions by NIRF.

JSSATE's undergraduate (B.E.) program currently offers seven different courses. In addition to the undergraduate program, the post-graduate program includes two M.E. courses and one business administration course.

Facilities

JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida provides the following facilities to meet the needs of students and teaching members: 

• Library: JSSATE has a centralized library that provides open and free access to all books and journals to all students. Several foreign periodicals are also made available to all students for use.

• Gym: The boy's hostel has a gym or a fitness center. The gym is available to all students and instructors.

• Sports: Well-trained sportspeople teach students a variety of indoor and outdoor sports such as Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Basketball, Handball, Throwball, Volleyball, Football, and Cricket. JSSATE also included a separate 200m athletic track, gymnastic facility, and Yoga space.

• Canteen: A variety of excellent items are made accessible to students and staff in the canteen. The canteen on campus is quite sanitary and vegetarian.

• ATM:  Are available on campus to assist students and faculty members in times of need. This ATM service is extremely beneficial to students living in the college hostel.

Full-time courses in engineering and architecture, sciences, management and business administration, and computer application and information technology are available at JSSATE Noida. 

JSSATE UG courses include 9 specializations in BE degree courses that last 4 years, while JSSATE PG courses include 5 M.Tech, MBA, and MCA degree degrees that last 2 years. JSSATE fees for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees as well as doctorate degrees range between Rs 1,74,000 and Rs 4,62,000.

Eligibility Criteria 

The JSSATE courses provided at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels, as well as their fee structure and JSSATE qualifying criteria, are listed below.

BE	Candidates must have a 10+2 diploma from a recognized board with 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as obligatory courses.
M.Tech	Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
MBA	Candidates must have earned a three-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% grades from a recognized institution.
MCA	Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Applications with a minimum of 50% grades from a recognized university.
PHD	Candidates must hold a Master's degree from a recognized university in relevant subjects.

Admission 2024

Admission is available to the institute's undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs. Candidates seeking admission to JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida must first pass an entrance exam, which is followed by a round of counseling. JSSATE UG admissions to BE degree courses are based on the COMEDK UGET and KCET scores, followed by the COMEDK/ KCET counseling process.

For JSSATE PG admissions, a valid Karnataka PGCET or GATE scorecard is required, followed by the PGCET counseling round. Finally, JSSATE doctorate admissions are granted following a personal interview of shortlisted candidates via the VTU-ETR written test. Candidates must meet the JSSATE course eligibility requirements.

On the college premises, JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida has a distinct training and placement unit.
